Oyirwoth Julius | 8

My name is Oyirwoth Julius, an eight-year-old orphan from Paidha, Zombo District. After my father’s death, life was hard for my poor mother, sister, and me. Today, WB8 Charity Foundation supports me fully after selecting me for my football talent during soccer trials. I thank God and WB8 for restoring my hope and helping me pursue my dream of becoming a professional footballer.
I pray WB8 continues helping other vulnerable children, and I promise to give back to my family and community when my dream comes true.

My name is Musana Aziz, a seven-year-old Primary Four pupil. Before joining WB8 Charity Foundation, I lived with my farming mother and my father, unable to work after ulcer surgery. My six siblings and I attended school but often missed exams due to unpaid fees. Food was scarce, sometimes only one meal daily, and I slept on chairs in our small house.
At WB8, I eat well, sleep comfortably, gain brothers, and dream of becoming a doctor and professional footballer.
Long live the WB8 Charity Foundation home forever.
My name is Divine Asiimwe, a Primary Three pupil and firstborn of four children. I lived with both parents; my mother ran a vegetable stall, and my father worked long hours as a taxi driver. Food was scarce, and I often cooked when my mother was sick. Life improved at WB8 Charity Foundation Academy, where I receive four meals daily.
I love football and dream of becoming a professional footballer or an educationist, helping underprivileged children, building my mother a home, and playing for the UK team proudly.
My name is Osinya Junior Dominic, a seven-year-old third-born with three siblings, raised by parents who survive through poultry farming. We walked long distances to school daily, leaving at 7:00 a.m. and returning at 6:00 p.m. At home, food was scarce; we often had only one unsatisfying meal and sometimes begged neighbors.
WB8 Charity Foundation welcomed me into a caring home with four meals, better sleep, and brothers. I dream of becoming a professional footballer, attaining an education, supporting my parents, and giving back through schools and hospitals.
Hubama Henry, an eight-year-old boy from a family of eleven, grew up in severe poverty with one meal a day. His father is a subsistence farmer, and his siblings attend government school. Through his football talent, Henry was spotted by a community coach and connected to WB8 Charity Foundation’s Soccer Academy.
At WB8, he receives quality education, professional training, four meals daily, and brotherhood. He dreams of becoming both a medical doctor and professional footballer to uplift his family and change their story and support his siblings.

Oyirwoth Christopher Martin| 8

My name is Oyirwoth Christopher Martin, an eight-year-old orphan raised by a single father, fifth in a family of six. Before joining WB8 Charity Foundation, life was very hard, lacking food, medication, and education. At WB8, I now receive care and opportunities I never had. My soccer talent led scouts to notice me during a village match, even when I had no shoes.
Inspired by Marcus Rashford, I pray to become a professional and one day start a foundation to help others. Long live WB8 Charity Foundation.
